A supplier's quote rarely tells the full story. Ocean or air freight, marine insurance, import duty, VAT or GST, and customs brokerage can add 15–40% to your product cost. EximKit's Landed Cost Calculator models every layer — including your Incoterm and de-minimis rules — so you know the real per-unit number before you wire a deposit.
Currencies convert at live European Central Bank rates, the Compare tab puts two sourcing options side by side, and a shareable link lets you send a live result to your team or supplier. Add a target sell price to see profit and margin instantly.
FAQ
Landed cost questions
What is landed cost?
Landed cost is the total price of a product once it reaches your warehouse — purchase price plus freight, insurance, import duty, VAT/GST, customs brokerage, and local fees. It's the number you should price and margin against, not the supplier's quote.
Which countries does it cover?
The calculator works for any destination, and includes smart presets for 15+ major import markets — the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, India, and Saudi Arabia — auto-filling the tax rate, currency, and de-minimis threshold for each.
How accurate is the duty rate?
Duty depends on your product's exact HS/tariff code, so we leave the duty rate editable and pre-fill a sensible default per country. To find your precise rate, use the HTS Code Lookup tool and paste it in. Everything else — VAT/GST, de-minimis, currency — is auto-filled.
What is a de-minimis threshold?
It's the shipment value below which a country waives duty (and sometimes tax). The calculator flags whether your shipment is above or below it — including current changes like the suspended US $800 rule and the EU phasing out its €150 threshold from July 2026.
Do Incoterms change my landed cost?
Yes. Your Incoterm decides which costs are already in the supplier price. Pick CIF and freight and insurance are treated as included; pick DDP and duty and tax are paid by the seller, so your landed cost is essentially the quoted price.
